iSpyStyle is a creative agency, online magazine and workshop series offering branding, marketing, strategy and digital communications for the retail, fashion and design industries.

About iSpyStyle

We are based in Melbourne, Australia and have a strong focus on local and national creative people and the work they do, however in 2011, we’re taking things international and discovering more about the creative folk all over the world from inspiring window displays, interviews and articles.

iSpyStyle began in April 2009 by Senior Spy, Kate Vandermeer and her partner Noonie.

Kate Vandermeer

Kate has spent the last 15 years in the Fashion Industry in Australia working in a variety of areas including Trend Forecasting, Marketing, Design Development and Visual Merchandising for Mimco, Decjuba, French Connection, Mogil and co-created and brand managed the online fashion magazine, stylehunter.com.

Never one to stay still, Kate has also lectured in Trend Forecasting and Fashion Marketing at RMIT and Whitehouse Institute of Design and is a sought after public speaker and guest panellist with Fashion Palette, FGI, AIMIA, Westpac, Online Divas, Melbourne Spring Fashion Festival and has judged many awards including Qantas SOYA Awards, Fashion Exposed Debut, Chambord Shine Awards and Ragtrader Retailer of the Year awards.

Kate has also written for Ragtrader, Marketing Magazine, Sunday Life, The Coolhunter, Fashionation, Fashion Exposed Online and Fernwood Fitness Magazine and was the first official blogger for L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival for 2010. As a regular contributor to the world-renowned WGSN (Worth Global Style Network) trend forecasting website, Kate is a sponge of information when it comes to the world of fashion, retail and lifestyle industries.
